Play it if you…
Good fit- Mystery fans who want a story-led investigation set in the 1950s
- Players who enjoy solving riddles, codes, and locked-door puzzles
- Detective-game players who prefer interrogations and evidence-based deduction
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking combat-focused gameplay may find the investigation centered on clues, puzzles, infiltration, and questioning
- Those who prefer short, self-contained cases may not suit a story spanning murders over a decade
- Players who dislike logic puzzles and comparing conflicting evidence may hit a wall during deduction
Our take on LumineNight
Players who prefer direct action may bounce off when progress depends on examining clues, solving codes, entering guarded areas covertly, and comparing testimony with crime-scene evidence. The main wall arrives during deduction, where contradictions must be identified and challenged through interrogation.
What is LumineNight?
LumineNight is a narrative detective game set in 1950s Summerset, USA.
Detective Kelvin Foster and his daughter Selen investigate murders that have remained unsolved for ten years. The casework involves examining nighttime streets and murder sites, collecting clues, decoding puzzles, slipping past security, and interviewing people connected to the crimes. Players test witness accounts against physical evidence, spot inconsistencies, and apply reasoning during questioning. The final deduction reconstructs the origin and outcome of the incidents, exposes the truth concealed beneath them, and reveals the motives each person kept hidden. Its investigation format brings together evidence collection, puzzle work, covert entry, suspect interviews, and logical conclusions.
