Our take on Loot Hound™
The store page gives equal weight to collectible lore, dog behavior, and park exploration, but the central activity remains repeated scavenger hunts. The variety comes from dog abilities, upgrades, and locations rather than from a broader range of game activities.
What is Loot Hound™?
Take a dog on a walk through parks and search for objects in this relaxed game of exploration, simulation, and strategy.
It features 132 collectibles, and each one provides a glimpse into the character’s past and personality. Players can keep as many as three dogs, each with a different ability, and guide them by adjusting or tugging their leashes. Dogs may detect scents, follow trails, dig, roam, chase, get distracted, recover, escape, or tire. Skills in digging, detection, focus, stamina, and luck can be improved. The game offers twelve parks, where digging in city locations may attract City Park Patrol. On Windows and Mac, play is supported with Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Thrustmaster GPX controllers.
