Our take on Loop
The defining mechanic is collective movement: every stone shifts on each input, while blocked movement sends a stone to the opposite side of the grid.
What is Loop?
Loop is a grid-based puzzle game about placing colorful stones in their correct positions.
Each move sends every stone in the chosen direction at the same time, so solving a layout requires accounting for the movement of all stones together. When a stone cannot move into an available cell in its required direction, it reappears on the opposite side of the grid. The game uses minimal graphics and music to create a calming atmosphere while presenting spatial puzzles. Movement is limited to four directions: up, down, left, and right.
How Loop plays
- 01Simultaneous Stone Movement
- Every stone responds to each move, requiring the positions of multiple stones to be considered together.
- 02Grid Edge Teleportation
- A stone that cannot enter an open cell in its direction appears at the opposite edge of the grid.
- 03Four-Way Controls
- Stones can be moved upward, downward, leftward, or rightward.
- 04Minimal Presentation
- The game pairs simple visuals with music and colorful stones.
