Our take on LONN
Rather than keeping combat confined to a fixed arsenal, LONN makes environmental objects part of both fighting and puzzle solving. Its campaign is also paired with procedural bounty runs, arena battles, and movement challenges.
What is LONN?
LONN is a single-player VR action-adventure about a bounty hunter confronting the WUX-n cult and its mind-transfer experiments.
Combat combines telekinesis, melee weapons, firearms, and objects from the environment, which can also be used to solve puzzles and distract enemies. The story campaign has 8+ hours of missions across connected environments. Bounty Adventures adds procedurally generated missions with permadeath: players scavenge supplies and loot, complete bounties, and try to escape. Arena mode offers wave-based battles, while Parkour challenges focus on climbing and movement. Replay mode lets players revisit unlocked chapters with a chosen weapon. Exploration can uncover digital currency used to purchase weapons and attachments. Movement options include snap and smooth turning.
How LONN plays
- 01Telekinetic combat
- Objects in the environment can be hurled at enemies, used as distractions, or applied to puzzles.
- 02Procedural bounty missions
- These runs change their level layout and use permadeath, with collected items lost on death.
- 03Chapter replay
- Unlocked story sections can be replayed with a selected weapon.
- 04Movement challenges
- Separate parkour activities focus on climbing, jumping, and free running.
