Our take on Long Ago: A Puzzle Tale
The chapter-based structure trades open-ended exploration for a sequence of authored puzzles. Progress depends on solving individual stages, collecting specific items, and unlocking chapters, leaving less room for free-form play outside those goals.
What is Long Ago: A Puzzle Tale?
Choose a direction for the ball, then watch it roll until an obstacle stops or redirects it.
Some objects react when struck, while others alter the ball’s route. Story levels require collecting all feathers before running out of moves; each feather reveals part of a voiced fairy tale told in rhyme. Coin levels require gathering every coin, with up to three gems awarded according to the number of moves used. Gems unlock new chapters, and coins buy skins for the ball. The campaign includes 80 levels and 30 variations arranged in themed chapters. Chapters add mechanics, visual settings, menu themes, and music. Optional hints suggest the next move, and achievements track in-game progress.
