Our take on Little Hearts
Rather than centering on a single fixed hero build, the game makes class changes a major structural choice for its 17-character team. It also adds a post-completion mode that removes luck from story stages, replacing chance with a more controlled form of tactical play.
What is Little Hearts?
Little Hearts is a turn-based strategy RPG where players move characters across maps, defeat enemies, and fulfill chapter objectives to advance the narrative.
The hero is accompanied by 17 allies, each offering individual weapons, skills gained through development, and personality changes determined by Class Change selections. Changing class also improves a character’s battle capability. The story centers on Princess Alma and Klaus, a young mercenary, as a revolution in an empire sparks conflict with a nearby kingdom. Combat is presented through 2D dot-style animation. Standard difficulty is intended for newcomers, whereas hard mode provides a more demanding experience. Once the main game is finished, an additional mode removes luck-based elements from stages drawn from the central story.
