What is Lingering Fragrance?
This short visual novel follows three high school students on their graduation trip.
In its world, further education after graduation strengthens students’ brains but causes them to lose most of their memories. The friends travel together to make memories before that happens, walking, visiting a hot spring, climbing a tower and watching fireworks. The story asks whether one character should give up her memory or endure everything, and whether the group is seeking happiness or trying to escape pain. The game contains three storylines: the main story comes first, and the other two unlock after it. Players encounter the trip and its questions through those stories.
