Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a large open world may hit the limit of the three compact chapters.
- Players wanting combat-heavy RPG progression may bounce off the emphasis on investigation and story.
- Players looking for a standalone adventure without a connected trilogy structure may not prefer its three-part format.
Our take on LiEat
The bounce point arrives for players expecting a traditional combat-led RPG: LiEat's central system turns Efina's ability to expose and consume lies into the main supernatural hook, while the three compact chapters place investigation and narrative progression ahead of extensive character-building.
What is LiEat?
LiEat follows Efina, a young dragon who can reveal lies as physical creatures and consume them, and her changing human caretaker as they travel through a mysterious world.
The story unfolds across three chapters: a town hiding a secret, a resort casino investigated under cover, and a mansion connected to a major theft. Along the way, the pair buys and sells secrets, meets humans and dragons, investigates past events, and confronts hidden truths. Gameplay includes exploration, optional conversations, hidden items, chapter-specific achievements, and an original soundtrack included with the game. The three chapters are packaged together on Steam without separate DLC.
