Our take on Lexicon
The game concentrates on a solo puzzle journey through six layers, trading multiplayer interaction and broader activity variety for a focused sequence of exploration, powers, and story discoveries.
What is Lexicon?
Lexicon is a 2D single-player puzzle adventure about escaping Limbo by ascending its six layers.
Players use supernatural abilities to manipulate time and space, and speak the long-lost Indus language to command fire, earth, air, and water. These powers support movement through Limbo and overcoming its challenges. Exploration reveals memory fragments about events before the story, along with secrets and hidden lore across varied environments. The layers include underground tombs, a factory built over molten lava, a coal-mining town, a sanctuary, a swampland divided by a river, and the Aviary, which floats above the clouds. The journey focuses on uncovering Limbo’s past and discovering the truth about the protagonist.
