We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Strategy players who want real-time army command and defensive positioning

- Players seeking wave-survival challenges with multiple heroes and upgrade choices
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a story-focused adventure rather than repeated defense battles

- Players wanting cooperative tower defense, as the described play centers on one king commanding the army
- Players looking for broad exploration instead of a set of battle maps and survival modes
Our take on Legendary Knight
The defining constraint is immediate defeat when either the king falls or a sacred statue is destroyed, making personal survival and base defense inseparable.
What is Legendary Knight?
Lead the king and his forces through real-time battles against invading waves.
Defend sacred statues and key buildings while assigning generals and units to strategic positions. Before each battle, buy items, train soldiers, manage resources, and learn skills with battlefield experience. Classic Mode offers 3 maps and up to 40 waves, while Endless Mode continues against an unending horde. Five playable heroes have distinct abilities, with an additional hero available through DLC. Defeat occurs immediately if the king falls or a sacred statue is destroyed. Progress involves upgrading the king and troops, unlocking skills, and adapting tactics to tougher enemies.
How Legendary Knight plays
- 01Real-Time Command
- Control the king directly while directing soldiers, generals, and units during battles.
- 02Statue Defense
- A sacred statue must survive each assault because its destruction causes immediate defeat.
- 03Classic Battle Maps
- Classic Mode contains 3 maps with up to 40 waves.
- 04Endless Survival
- Endless Mode pits the army against an ongoing enemy horde.
- 05Five Heroes
- The game includes 5 playable heroes with distinct abilities, plus 1 DLC hero.
- 06Army Preparation
- Between battles, players can purchase items, train soldiers, assign defenders, and spend experience on skills.
