- Players looking for story-driven role-playing systems may find the focus on battles, abilities, vehicles, and cosmetic rewards too narrow.
Our take on LEAP
Players who prefer conventional ground movement may bounce at the first battlefield traversal sequence, where grappling hooks, jetpacks, directional dashes, and personal vehicles are central to reaching enemies and changing position.
What is LEAP?
LEAP is a multiplayer first-person shooter centered on large battles between the United Earth Defense Coalition and the rebel Exo-Terrans.
Players cooperate with teammates while using weapons, class abilities, and personal vehicles to cross the battlefield and attack opposing forces. Movement options include grappling hooks, jetpacks, directional dashes, hoverboards, and mechanical moose mounts. Exosuits provide abilities such as calling an orbital laser against groups of enemies or deploying a support shield for temporary cover. Each mercenary has a personal vehicle for covering distances quickly. Victory rewards include helmet emojis and skin options for exosuits, vehicles, and weapons.
