What is ShockRods?
ShockRods is a vehicle-based arena shooter with player-versus-player and player-versus-environment play.
Matches support teams of six or up to 12 players in free-for-all battles. Vehicles use directional boosters for rapid turns and jumps, while arenas provide weapons and power-ups including miniguns, rocket launchers, freeze guns, and rams. Six environments range from deserts and woodland to constructed combat arenas. Modes include Death Match, Team Death Match, Capture The Flag, Golden Ram, and Shockball, an objective mode centered on carrying a ball to the opposing goal. Vehicle appearance can be changed through body styles, colors, patterns, wheels, tires, taunts, and sounds. Cosmetic items are unlocked with currency earned from battle performance.
