Our take on Leafing Home
The likely bounce point is the flight system: players must switch between aerial movement modes during challenges, including catching objects and following flying squirrels. Anyone wanting only ground exploration may hit that wall when airborne tasks become part of the adventure.
What is Leafing Home?
Leafing Home follows a young Prevost's squirrel trying to return home and recover the World Tree's stolen fruit.
The adventure combines exploration, platforming, flying challenges, puzzles, and minigames across four distinct regions. A magical leaf enables flight, with two aerial movement modes that can be switched during a journey. Activities include catching paper airplanes, collecting fireflies, following flying squirrels, recycling trash, helping as a beach bartender, dancing with fish, playing volleyball, catching bunnies, and singing with bees. The squirrel also plants 16 unique plants, collects litter, and assists bees while meeting unusual birds, fish, tortoises, and the bee detective Detlev.
