Our take on Last Shift
Its short, fixed structure keeps the experience focused, but leaves little room for exploration beyond the intended route. The lack of saving also makes the game dependent on completing its roughly 30–40-minute story in one sitting.
What is Last Shift?
Play as Mark Thompson, who takes a nighttime cleaning job after losing his previous employment.
Strange events begin unfolding inside the office, eventually leading to his disappearance. Months later, a detective investigates the case and the secrets connected to the building. The game uses a first-person perspective with walking-simulator gameplay, exploration, object interaction, and tasks set across different locations. Its story follows a fixed sequence and takes about 30–40 minutes to complete. There is no save function, so the game is intended to be finished in one sitting. Players investigate the office, respond to unsettling occurrences, and work toward discovering what happened to Mark.
