Our take on Lamm
Lamm replaces the usual always-available jump with a resource-based movement rule. Orb colors set the number of jumps, and the order of collection determines which routes remain possible through each level.
What is Lamm?
Lamm is a hardcore platformer built around collecting orbs that determine how many times the character can jump.
White orbs allow one jump, yellow orbs provide two, orange orbs three, red orbs five, and black orbs provide none. The game has six worlds and 42 levels, with difficulty increasing from one level to the next. The order of orb collection matters, adding a route-planning element to movement through each level. Every level hides a firefly as an extra challenge. Finding all six fireflies in one world opens a bonus level. A timer records the best completion time for every level, supporting repeated speedrunning attempts.
How Lamm plays
- 01Orb-based jumping
- Five orb colors determine whether the character can make zero, one, two, three, or five jumps.
- 02Six worlds
- The game includes 42 levels whose difficulty increases from one level to the next.
- 03Hidden fireflies
- Each level contains one concealed firefly, and finding all six in a world grants access to a bonus level.
- 04Level time records
- A timer keeps the best completion time for every level.
Lamm compared to similar games
Lamm focuses on orb collection, jump counts, and pickup order across structured platforming levels. SUPER CHICKEN JUMPER combines running and shooting, while Sundered: Eldritch Edition presents a chaotic metroidvania structure.
