Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a low-difficulty platformer may hit a wall as the levels become increasingly difficult.
- Players who want a single-pass adventure may find repeated retries and collectible searches too demanding.
- Players looking primarily for combat-focused action may find the emphasis on movement, obstacles, and exploration limiting.
Our take on Cursed Broom
The bounce point arrives when the stages begin demanding precise use of flight, teleportation, and wall-jumping. Players who do not enjoy repeating a level to refine movement or locate concealed pages may stop there, especially when pursuing every collectible or a faster completion time.
What is Cursed Broom?
Cursed Broom is a 2D platformer following Maya across areas of her hometown, including sewers, city streets, and clouds.
Players move through increasingly difficult stages using flight, teleportation, and wall-jumping. Artifacts provide powers connected to the Broom, Hat, and enchanted Shoes, while an enchanted runaway printer drives the story alongside Maya's meeting with the young witch Robbyn. Levels contain concealed spellbook pages and other collectibles, with retries built into the process of learning each ability and obstacle. A time-trial option supports speedruns, and the game includes a story about self-discovery, friendship, and a journey toward a witch city floating in the sky.
