Our take on Kunado Chronicles
Players looking for immediate combat may bounce off at the premise: the decisive battle has already ended before the protagonist awakens. The central progression then shifts to rebuilding culture, understanding Kanto, and developing relationships rather than fighting through a conventional adventure.
What is Kunado Chronicles?
Kunado Chronicles is a post-apocalyptic fantasy visual novel in Kanto, a land formed through a millennium of battles against metal creatures known as Tekki.
A hundred days after a hero’s decisive victory, a young man from a thousand years earlier emerges from cold sleep, unable to recall his own past. He offers knowledge of ancient civilization to Kanto’s people as payment for the necessities of life. The story explores his efforts to introduce culture, his relationships, and the lives of the country’s rulers, fighters, and ordinary residents as they adjust to a world after war. It features more than 20 hours of story, two branching routes, Japanese voice acting, and characters shaped by their surroundings.
