Our take on Knights of Braveland
Its defining structure is a contract-based adventure assembled from hundreds of events, so each hunt produces a different sequence of encounters and story turns.
What is Knights of Braveland?
This cooperative action brawler sends heroes after villains through quests built from hundreds of possible events.
Adventures support solo play, local multiplayer, or online sessions for as many as four participants. Every contract can rearrange encounters, paths, characters, and narrative turns. Players choose a peasant, blacksmith, tracker, or rogue, then advance toward knighthood. Over 100 equipment varieties—including blades, polearms, mallets, crossbows, firearms, enchanted staves, and strength-enhancing gauntlets—can change how a hero fights. Castle chambers may also be repaired to grant bonuses before subsequent raids. Local multiplayer needs a separate gamepad for each participating player.

Knights of Braveland compared to similar games
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened combines cooperative action RPG play with tower defense, loot, leveling, pets, and character customization, while Knights of Braveland centers on beat ’em up combat and event-generated quests. Ghost of a Tale focuses on a single mouse character, stealth, disguises, conversations, and exploration in an animal-populated medieval world rather than four-player cooperative fighting.
