Our take on Kiteboarding Pro
Rather than centering on a single race or a conventional team sport, this kitesurfing game combines score-chasing modes with freeride jumps and trick performance. Its control challenge also comes from managing the kite alongside the board.
What is Kiteboarding Pro?
Kiteboarding Pro is a semi-realistic kitesurfing game built around controlling both a kite and a board.
Procedural animations support tricks ranging from grabs and board-offs to unhooked maneuvers. Players can change the wind, which ranges from approximately 8 to 50 knots; kite size varies with the wind, and smaller kites are more hectic to control. Three maps have Caribbean, lake, and icy themes, with clear or overcast skies and play from morning until sundown. Freestyle and Time trials offer score-based competition and rankings. Completing certain goals awards bonus kites and boards. The game also includes freeride mode for large jumps. Coordinating kite and board controls can be tricky for new players.
