Our take on Kingdom's Life
Rather than beginning with an established nation and its existing institutions, the game starts with a settler detachment and builds toward statehood. Its scope joins economic management and social development with diplomacy and military affairs.
What is Kingdom's Life?
Kingdom's Life is a pixel-style, turn-based global strategy game about creating a people and state from a starting group of settlers.
Develop land and construct 29 types of buildings, which produce goods and contribute to the country’s economy. Production chains turn resources into complex goods, while the population consumes food and construction uses materials. Weapons supply soldiers. The game includes 25 resource types, 117 technologies, and four stages of social development: tribal society, feudalism, capitalism, and industrialism. Manage economic parameters, allocate resources, and subsidize private businesses. Diplomacy includes alliances, conflict, fomenting discontent, and investment. Players pursue political, economic, technological, and military development.
