Our take on KILL la KILL -IF
Its defining structure is the combination of direct fighting and debate duels: Bloody Valor pauses the usual exchange for a three-choice phrase contest based on rock-paper-scissors rules.
What is KILL la KILL -IF?
KILL la KILL -IF is an action fighting game with a new story told from Satsuki Kiryuin’s perspective.
Players battle various characters while following scenarios supervised by the original anime’s scenario writer. Combat uses three opposing action types: normal attacks, guards, and break attacks. Normal attacks include close- and long-range options with repeated-button combos. Guards block normal attacks but fail against break attacks, while break attacks can pierce defenses at the cost of leaving the attacker exposed. Bloody Valor adds a debate sequence in which players select among three phrase types in a rock-paper-scissors exchange. The game uses 3D cel-look visuals and includes scenes and cinematics based on the anime series.
