Our take on Keep Keepers
Its co-op framing is prominent, while the day-and-night economy is equally central to play. The experience is not only about placing defenses: resource extraction, selling diamonds, production automation, and upgrade choices occupy the daytime phase.
What is Keep Keepers?
Keep Keepers combines tower defense with base management, automation, and roguelike elements.
At night, players defend a keep against enemy waves by positioning weapons and matching ammunition to enemy weaknesses. During the day, they expand the fortress, unlock weapons and upgrades, manage production, and prepare for the next attack. Explosives can extract diamonds, which can be sold to fund smelters, automated grabbers, ammunition storage, weapons, and defensive improvements. Weapon choices change how each run plays. The game supports online and local co-op for 1-4 players, including mixed multiplayer, along with keyboard or controller controls. Randomized enemies and challenges provide variation between runs, while online highscores add a competitive element.
