- Completion-focused players who want collectibles and bonus levels
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking story, dialogue, or cinematic sequences will hit a wall because the game removes those elements.
- Players looking for forgiving platforming may bounce off the repeated deaths from hazards and demanding jumps.
- Players wanting multiplayer sessions will not find a shared-play structure here.
Our take on JMPR
The bounce point arrives at the first chain of failed jumps: JMPR puts movement precision ahead of story, spectacle, and forgiveness. Players who need narrative breaks or a gentler retry curve may stop once spikes, saws, and other lethal hazards turn each mistake into another full attempt.
What is JMPR?
JMPR is a single-player 2D platformer centered on precise movement and demanding jumps rather than story, dialogue, or cinematics.
It contains 201 individually made levels, with lighters to collect and par times to beat. Four additional challenge levels change the usual rules. Movement includes a jetpack and grappling hook, while hazards include spikes, saws, bottomless falls, lasers, and toxic goo. The game supports keyboard and gamepad controls. Its structure focuses on repeated attempts to clear difficult stages, collect every lighter, and improve completion times.
