Is JETRUNNER worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Speedrunners who want first-person movement challenges
- Players who prefer short, repeatable arena runs over open-world exploration
- Fans of competitive time chasing with leaderboards and ghost replays
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a slow-paced shooter or relaxed movement system may find the constant running, jumping, and route optimization demanding.
- Players who want broad role-playing progression or a large exploratory world may find the arena-focused structure narrow.
- Players looking for multiplayer competition may not find the listed competitive features suitable, as the described competition uses times, ghosts, and leaderboards.
- Players seeking traditional vehicle racing may prefer a game centered on driving rather than first-person parkour and gunplay.
Our take on JETRUNNER
The focus on speed, routes, and repeated optimization leaves less room for broad exploration or varied combat encounters. Its arena structure supports precise replay, but players seeking a slower campaign or expansive world may find the format restrictive.
What is JETRUNNER?
JETRUNNER combines first-person parkour with shooting in hand-built arenas set in a near-future sports world.
Players wall-run, vault, slide, grapple, and use six futuristic gadgets while pursuing faster routes through more than 60 arenas. A voiced campaign follows Nina White as she competes to rise through the sport’s ranks. Challenge Mode focuses on planning and repeated optimization, while ghost replays allow runs to be compared against earlier attempts. Global leaderboards support competition over recorded times. The game also includes alternate routes, shortcuts, and movement techniques for players refining their approach across repeated runs. Its presentation uses cel-shaded, comic-inspired visuals.
