Our take on JETMAN
The one-button structure keeps the focus on jump timing and enemy behavior, but gives up the broader control schemes found in more involved action RPGs. The short-session format also limits the space for extended exploration and elaborate combat systems.
What is JETMAN?
JETMAN is a one-button action game built around jumping and enemy attacks.
Holding the button changes jump height, so each encounter depends on timing a landing attack. More than 50 enemies have different appearances and movement patterns, requiring observation before choosing when to strike. Battles award JP, or Junk Points, which can be spent on attack or defense upgrades. The story follows Jet, a half-android created by Dr. Ark to oppose the Violets Organization, alongside a cast of colorful characters. The main story unlocks special modes after completion, adding post-game content beyond the central adventure. The game is structured for short play sessions and quick completion.
How JETMAN plays

- 03JP Character Upgrades
- Battle rewards can be assigned to attack or defense improvements.
- 04Post-Game Modes
- Completing the main story opens additional special modes.
