Our take on Jetborne Racing
Instead of keeping racing on the ground, the game applies racing lines, braking points and apexes to flight. Pilots also manage G-forces and blackout risk, while optional weapons and other pickups add combat elements to the races.
What is Jetborne Racing?
Pilot lightweight jets through technical air-racing courses, competing online in races for up to 8 players or flying solo to beat a recording of a personal-best lap.
Races can include shields, cannons, missiles, tractor beams, mines and other powerups; options also cover damage, laps and respawns. Control the aircraft with virtual stick and throttle or bind physical HOTAS hardware, in VR or on desktop. Flight physics include aerodynamic forces and G-load limits: excessive speed through a corner can cause loss of control or blackout. The racing asks pilots to manage braking points, apexes and racing lines in three dimensions. Global lap-time leaderboards track results, while offline hot laps provide a way to practice and set personal records.
