Our take on Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors
The hands-on forging loop gives equipment preparation a central role, but that focus leaves less room for direct battlefield control. Combat is primarily about selecting and improving gear, then supporting troops from the battle wagon.
What is Jacksmith: Weapons and Warriors?
Play as a donkey blacksmith who equips warrior clans for battles against monsters and the wizard Dudley.
Choose ore and molds, melt and pour metal, shape the weapon, then add parts before sending it into combat. Warriors specialize in different weapon types, while Scout provides information about upcoming enemies and their weaknesses. During battles, collect loot from fallen monsters and fire a cannon with ammunition types that unlock over time. Progress opens new molds, cannonball types, and Epic Weapon Designs. The game includes six warrior clans, seven lands, more than 135 enemies, over 275 crafting parts, 80 Epic Weapons, and 80 badges.
