Our take on Island Notes
Rather than treating survival as a solitary resource loop, the game places NPC relationships and group decisions alongside base building, farming, and combat. Independent companion routines make the stranded group part of the survival structure instead of limiting the player to individual upkeep.
What is Island Notes?
Island Notes places a shipwrecked group on a mysterious island where survival can involve cooperation or self-preservation.
Exploration spans caves, abandoned structures, cliffs, underwater areas, and other locations across an open map. Resources can be gathered from environmental objects, while base construction, farming, fishing, hunting, and weapon or armor crafting support daily survival. NPCs have affinity relationships, voice acting, and independent routines such as eating, cooking, resting, gathering, and fighting. The game also includes romance, pet hatching and rearing, creature combat, outfit unlocks tied to affinity, changing weather, and a range of weapons and tools.
