What is Island 359™?
Island 359 is a virtual reality survival shooter for HTC Vive and Oculus Touch.
Players explore a six-square-mile island while scavenging food, weapons, scrap metal, duct tape, and other materials. Found items can be used to craft equipment and weapon upgrades, with more than 30 blueprints discovered through experimentation at crafting tables. Survival includes health, hunger, stamina, and energy, requiring players to fight, eat, run, and sleep. A holographic watch displays the map, vital statistics, missions, and active stories. Radio towers improve the world map. The game also includes Mercenary and Arcade modes, global leaderboards, multiple movement systems, accessibility modes, realistic weapons, throwable items, and upgradable character statistics.
