Our take on INVITATION
The defining structure is survival through investigation and avoidance: Max must explore a closed school, uncover the experiment behind it, and locate an escape route while facing threats that may not be visible.
What is INVITATION?
INVITATION is a first-person survival horror game following Max, a Brownstone School graduate and second-generation radiation victim.
A mysterious reunion invitation draws Max, now an office worker, to the school despite its closure. Inside, the building appears deserted, and Max must explore school environments, uncover the experiment behind the location, and find a way out. Survival depends on avoiding threats and discovering what happened rather than simply entering and leaving. The game presents fear through both visible and unseen dangers, with the school serving as the setting for its mystery. Its story centers on Max’s memories, unusual physical symptoms, and the invitation that leads back to Brownstone School.
