Our take on Insomnis
The manor itself changes as Joe investigates, turning room exploration into part of the horror rather than a fixed search through the house.
What is Insomnis?
Insomnis is a first-person horror game in which Joe Castevet investigates the manor inherited from his grandfather, the English scientist Roman Castevet.
Players search the old residence for clues, solve analogue and digital puzzles, and follow a story of family secrets and intrigue. The house changes as the investigation continues, with rooms shifting and nightmares appearing. Environmental details and sound create tense moments. Decisions made during the story affect the characters’ fate, with multiple possible endings. The game centers on exploration of the mansion and puzzle-solving as Joe tries to discover what happened there and why he is not alone.
