What is Inside The Park VR?
This virtual-reality baseball trainer runs on Valve Index, HTC Vive, and other headsets using OpenVR.
It covers hitting, throwing, receiving, pitching, and defensive play at catcher, pitcher, infield, and outfield positions. Three difficulty settings—Amateur, Competitive, and Professional—are available, with adjustable pitches reaching 90+ MPH. Practice takes place in stadiums or batting cages through target exercises, soft-toss work, AI-supported catching, and tee batting with variable tee height. Recorded metrics include pitch velocity and category, bat velocity, batted-ball speed, spin, and travel distance. The package also provides computer-controlled pitchers, a ball-feeding machine, and a fielder. Teleport movement is used, while Vive Trackers can monitor the bat and modify its position.
