Our take on Inhumanus
Rather than limiting its shooter structure to a fixed campaign, the game adds a separate descent mode with randomly generated levels, escalating enemies, and no story. It also departs from a VR-only format by supporting mouse-and-keyboard play on a flat monitor.
What is Inhumanus?
Inhumanus is a science-fiction shooter built around a 14-level campaign for solo play or co-op with up to 4 players.
A Galactic army captain investigates an SOS signal from an apparently empty planet, then moves through an underground facility inhabited by aliens, robots, and mutants. The campaign takes about 8–10 hours and includes 21 guns plus 2 secret weapons. The Descent mode removes the story and generates deeper combat runs across 5 themes, with 15 guns and 22 enemy types. Movement supports trackpad, teleport, or a hybrid option. The game supports VR and also offers mouse-and-keyboard play on a flat monitor. Difficulty options, manual or button-based reloading, level skipping, collectibles, and bonus levels add alternate ways to play.

Inhumanus compared to similar games
Abyssus also centers on multiplayer shooting, but it uses hand-crafted levels in a roguelite structure, while Inhumanus combines a 14-level story campaign with a separately randomized combat mode. Hentai Vs Furries is described as a third-person shooter with multiple camera angles, whereas Inhumanus focuses on VR movement choices, solo or co-op play for up to 4, and a first-person-style VR shooter format.
