Our take on INHUMAN
The emphasis on enclosed-house exploration and psychological disorientation leaves less room for varied settings or activities. Its puzzles and chase sequences serve the unfolding story rather than a broad collection of play modes.
What is INHUMAN?
INHUMAN is an independent horror game centered on narrative and psychological horror.
The protagonist wakes in her family’s old house, which burned down 20 years earlier, after being kidnapped. She explores its rooms to recover memories and uncover secrets about her family’s death in a power struggle. The game combines environmental puzzles, including clues involving notes and candles, with encounters with ghosts and sequences in which she is chased. Scenes change as the protagonist looks around, reflecting her altered perception. Background music and quieter melodies accompany exploration. The story follows her attempts to distinguish what is real as she investigates the house and its past.
