Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want precise, predictable movement may hit a wall with the momentum-based physics and twin-stick controls.
- Those seeking a large campaign may find the single-player story’s six opponents brief in scope.
- Players without an Xbox controller or another controller configured as XInput cannot play.
Our take on Inflatality
Players who expect tightly controlled fighter movement may bounce off when momentum and wind start shaping every exchange; the twin-stick controls ask them to manage both the waver and its physics. Solo players looking for an extended story may also reach the end of the campaign after its six opponents.
What is Inflatality?
Inflatality is a physics-based fighting game with inflatable characters and twin-stick controls.
Players can customize a waver’s appearance, name, and special attack, then fight with weapons across five battlegrounds. Combat uses momentum and wind to move and attack. Loot earned through fighting unlocks weapons, character options, and battlegrounds. The game supports fights with friends using two controllers, and includes Quick Match A. I. with randomly generated opponents, selectable weapons, and difficulty settings. Its Lords of Derp campaign adds a single-player quest against six opponents. The N-Gorge healing item can restore energy, but an opponent can knock it away. The game requires Xbox controllers or other controllers configured as XInput, including through Steam Controller Configuration.
