Our take on Infinitum
The defining detail is the combination of a seven-artifact search with continuous oxygen and life-support maintenance across a dozen star systems, alongside optional sightseeing around pulsars and black holes.
What is Infinitum?
Explore a dozen star systems and visit dozens of planets with different climates while searching for seven artifacts linked to a cure for a virus affecting many star systems.
Expeditions include abandoned stations and lunar bases, with hostile creatures and dangerous environments posing threats. Oxygen reserves and life-support systems must be maintained for both the ship and the main character. Black boxes left by unsuccessful searchers can be found during the search. Gathering dark energy and matter allows the creation of antimatter for jumps between star systems. The game also permits leisurely flights around pulsars and black holes and walks across new worlds. Some locations feature real celestial sounds created by shifting electromagnetic waves into the audible range.
