Our take on Infestation: Origins
Rather than placing players in the usual role of investigators or survivors, the game casts them as exterminators. Its horror structure combines location exploration and outbreak treatment with episodic threats drawn from classic characters and urban legends.
What is Infestation: Origins?
Play alone or in a team of up to four exterminators across episodic 1980s locations.
Investigate each site, access additional sections, track infestation signs, restore power to systems, and trace the outbreak’s origin. Extermination tools let the team clear nests and face dangerous creatures. Groups can divide tasks to work faster or remain together for protection. Positional and worldwide voice channels support coordination. Every episode centers on a different distorted figure from folklore or a familiar tale linked to the infestation. Changing object placements, contracts, and enemy behavior create different conditions from one session to another. Earn experience and money to obtain character skins, perks, weapons, and traps.
