Our take on Infection
The text-free approach leaves out written explanations, so players must learn the mechanics through the levels. That choice keeps the focus on puzzle play but may not suit players who prefer explicit instructions.
What is Infection?
Infection is a minimal puzzle game about spreading a virus across cells.
Infected cells use virus in the body to infect healthy cells through collisions. Some cells have antibodies for protection, and both the virus and antibodies recover over time. Infected cells periodically provide genes, which are used to control switches. The game has no text; its levels introduce the mechanics through play. It contains 45 levels, with more than three hours of play for most players, according to the vendor.
