Our take on INDUSTRIA
Players who need a lengthy campaign may bounce off when they see the stated runtime: about 4 hours. Those expecting a broad arsenal may hit another limit when combat is framed around five weapons, rather than a larger selection.
What is INDUSTRIA?
In 1989, as Berlin’s Wall comes down, Nora crosses into an alternate realm while looking for Walter, a coworker who has vanished.
Her investigation starts in an abandoned laboratory outside East Berlin, where officials have erased evidence of a covert research program. She then travels through a strange factory-like metropolis, uncovering clues about Walter and the facility. The game presents a roughly four-hour, narrative-focused FPS campaign. Hostile creatures confront Nora along the way, and she has five weapon types for protection. Its world merges divided-era Berlin with an alien industrial landscape, supported by music that blends synthesizers, traditional instruments, and sung vocals.
How INDUSTRIA plays
- 01Five weapons
- Nora uses them to defend herself against enemies encountered during the journey.
- 02Mixed soundtrack
- The music combines synthesizers, acoustic instruments and vocals.
- 03Parallel-dimension setting
- The story moves from East Berlin into a surreal industrial city.
