Our take on Inch by Inch
The defining constraint is the scientist’s shrinking body: time spent processing ingredients can leave machines out of reach, forcing decisions about both the antidote sequence and laboratory layout.
What is Inch by Inch?
Inch by Inch is an action-casual game about a scientist who steadily shrinks while working inside a laboratory.
Search for formulas and ingredients, then use the lab’s machines to process ingredients into new components. Each formula is linked to a particular machine, and processed materials can serve as inputs for other formulas or become part of the antidote. The objective is to gather three key ingredients and place them in the antidote processor.
Processing takes time, so the laboratory may need rearranging before the scientist can no longer reach certain equipment. The game uses randomly generated formulas and item locations, four difficulty settings including a customizable option, score tracking for high scores and fastest times, and a sandbox mode for exploring the lab.
