Our take on Imperiums: Greek Wars
The broad leadership brief trades narrow focus for breadth: military decisions sit alongside economics, government, political crises, objectives, exploration, and mythic quests. Players looking mainly for tactical battles may spend substantial time managing the wider state.
What is Imperiums: Greek Wars?
Imperiums: Greek Wars combines turn-based 4X play with historical grand strategy in a myth-infused Greco-Persian setting beginning in 359 BC.
Choose from 30 factions, including Greek city-states, Macedonia, Sparta, Athens, the Achaemenid Empire, and semi-nomadic societies. As divine ruler, military commander, and political leader, manage the economy, government, military affairs, crises, and national objectives while pursuing expansion, prosperity, and victory. Generals can investigate legendary quests involving the Golden Fleece and the Gordian Knot. Multiplayer games let players challenge one another in a race to victory. The game also includes user-created realms, allowing players to explore worlds made by others or create realms for others to visit. Guidance offers context and recommendations during play.
