Our take on Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure
Rather than centering one activity, the game combines island exploration with farming, construction, crafting, creature-based abilities, quests, puzzles, and monster battles. Its shared structure also lets co-op groups undertake farming, building, combat, and area progression together instead of separating those activities.
What is Ikonei Island: An Earthlock Adventure?
Explore a strange island while collecting materials, growing crops, crafting tools and equipment, and constructing workshops, a base, or a decorated home.
Magical creatures can become allies whose abilities open paths into new areas and support resource gathering. Combat involves creating weapons and confronting monsters, while quests, puzzles, island mysteries, and encounters with local inhabitants add exploration objectives. Farming includes multiple tools and systems for developing the land. The full game supports online co-op for 2–4 Steam friends, with farming, construction, combat, quests, and area unlocking available to the group. Solo play is also supported. A Friends’ Pass permits shared play for roughly the first 2 hours, while owning the full game removes that duration limit.
