Our take on I was here
The photo-quiz format keeps the focus on observation and deduction, but gives up active exploration and varied interaction. Progress depends on recognizing visual details, city knowledge, and the supplied clues rather than controlling a character or navigating a world.
What is I was here?
I Was Here is a photo-based trivia game about identifying cities from images of landmarks and less tourist-focused locations.
It includes more than 500 photos from over 60 cities, with facts about the pictured places and three difficulty levels. Classic mode contains over 120 levels, while quiz mode presents one image with six possible answers and a 50/50 hint across more than 50 levels. An in-game album records guessed cities and their photos. The game uses piano, jazz, and blues music, and includes 20 desktop wallpapers in the Steam folder after purchase. The photos focus on locations across Europe, Russia, and the Caucasus region.
