Our take on Humanity Lost
A wormhole transports the protagonist across the universe, turning the search for a replacement home for humanity into a first-person journey across alien planets.
What is Humanity Lost?
Humanity Lost is a single-player first-person shooter set in 2156, when Earth has become a desert and human survival is threatened by shortages of food and water.
Playing as Landon, the story begins after a wormhole carries him across the universe to an unfamiliar planet. Guided by an alien named Zip, Landon searches for a world where he and his wife Jessie can continue human life. Gameplay combines exploration across surreal open-world planets with shooting, weapon discovery, experience points, special abilities, character upgrades, and side missions. The game includes a story-focused campaign and no inventory or loot-sorting system. It was created by one developer over two years and updated in 2024.
