Our take on Horror Hunt
The defining structure is the forced team reversal: after each round, players change between hiding as environmental Props and searching as The Hunted.
What is Horror Hunt?
Horror Hunt is a multiplayer-only game built around two rotating teams: The Hunted and Props.
The Hunted search for four codes, gather code pieces from yellow pages, and use them to open a locked exit while carrying an assault rifle, traps, glow-sticks, a flashlight, and unlimited sprint. Props conceal themselves by changing into objects from the environment, then use stealth, melee attacks, throwing daggers, and night vision to stop the escape. Teams switch sides after each round. Matches use peer-to-peer networking, with support for custom games that can be open or password-protected.
How Horror Hunt plays
- 01Rotating Team Roles
- Each round switches players between the searching Hunted team and the shape-shifting Props.
- 02Four-Code Escape
- The Hunted must locate four code pieces and enter them at the sole locked exit.
- 03Environmental Disguise
- Props can transform into objects found around the map to conceal their position.
- 04Custom Multiplayer Rooms
- Peer-to-peer matches can be created with open access or password protection.
