HopSquash!
is a local multiplayer game where players move and jump onto animal characters to score points. Up to 8 people can play on the same screen using gamepads, keyboards, or a mouse; split gamepad mode allows 2 players per gamepad. The game includes selectable animal characters, 8 colour choices, and 36 levels across 6 themes: Meadows, Candy, Haunted House, Forest, Desert, and Farm. Each round uses 5 randomly selected levels before displaying final results, with round duration and the number of rounds configurable. Squash effects can be set to Blood, Colours, or Candy. The Steam listing also provides a Legacy version, which retains a level editor but has fewer levels and older gameplay changes.
