We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- VR players seeking short meditation sessions with selectable scenery

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for a finished story campaign may hit a wall because Story Mode is still in development.

- Players looking for a non-VR experience may not find this suitable.
Our take on HOPE VR: Progressive Meditation
The clearest stopping point is Story Mode: it is still in development, so players arriving for a structured narrative campaign will find Meditation Mode instead. Within that mode, the boxing activity comes before meditation, which may also put off anyone expecting every session to begin quietly.
What is HOPE VR: Progressive Meditation?
HOPE VR combines meditation, breathing exercises, rhythm boxing, and exploration across selectable environments.
In Meditation Mode, players can choose locations, weather, and time of day, and adjust rain intensity. Meditation takes place on Zen platforms: staying longer raises the platform, while each environment offers an elemental breathing exercise themed around Earth, Space, Water, or Fire. Rhythm Boxing provides an exercise activity before meditation, with music-reactive surroundings and music tracks. Players can also collect baby dragons in different colors, types, and abilities. The game includes unlimited access to its environments and Meditation Mode features. Story Mode is still in development.
