Our take on HOP TOP
Players who rely on improvisation may bounce off when enemy patterns become the main key to higher scores. The wall arrives during repeated attempts to climb the tower, where recognizing each insect’s movement matters as much as jumping and shooting.
What is HOP TOP?
HOP TOP is an arcade-style platform shooter about Hop the Dodo Bird, whose wings were taken by insects in Insect Tower.
Players jump between platforms, shoot Wasps and three types of Flies, and move through five tower floors. Traps, score items, and platforms with special effects appear during the climb, while learning enemy movement patterns supports higher scores. Campaign Mode follows Hop’s tower ascent. Endless Mode sends repeated bug waves for score chasing, and Arcade Mode presents a version shaped around classic arcade play. The game focuses on short, action-driven sessions built around platforming, enemy patterns, scoring, and three distinct modes.
How HOP TOP plays
- 01Three play modes

- 04Interactive obstacles
- Traps, score items, and special platforms affect movement and combat during each run.
