Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players looking for survival, resource management, or life-simulation systems may find the building focus narrow.

- Players seeking a jigsaw puzzle or an AI-driven world-war simulation are looking for different gameplay.
Our take on Hometopia
The defining constraint is the absence of a building budget: projects can be made without an in-game spending limit, keeping the focus on shaping homes rather than managing costs.
What is Hometopia?
Hometopia is a home-building sandbox focused on designing and decorating rather than life simulation.
Players can create homes in different environments, work solo or build with friends in real-time multiplayer, and use thousands of objects and customization options. Designs can start from a pre-built house or a blank project, with colors, patterns, textures, layouts, and styles available for changes. Landscaping tools cover gardens, patios, and other outdoor areas. A built-in camera captures images of completed spaces, which can be shared with the Hometopia community. Players can also gather selected builds into a portfolio. Construction has no budget limit, so projects are not constrained by an in-game spending allowance.
How Hometopia plays
- 01Real-time co-building
- Friends can work together on homes or larger neighborhood projects.
- 02Pre-built houses
- Existing homes can serve as starting points for decoration and customization.
- 03Outdoor landscaping
- Tools support additions such as gardens, patios, and backyards.
- 04Build portfolio
- Selected creations can be assembled into a shareable portfolio.
