Our take on Home Security
The bounce point arrives when leaving the bedroom becomes mandatory: exploration is tied to caring for the sick brother, listening for incidents, and repairing broken windows. Players who prefer direct confrontation may also stall at the neighbor’s invasion, where detection and household response drive survival.
What is Home Security?
A survival horror game about a recluse’s sister caring for her sick older brother while their parents are away.
She must leave her room despite being unable to go outside, then move through a dim house surrounded by barricaded windows. Sounds in the house signal possible incidents, including a neighbor’s invasion. Broken windows require repairs to keep the intruder out, while walking through the dark gradually reduces physical strength. The objective is to protect the brother and survive for five days.
How Home Security plays
- 01Five-Day Survival
- The scenario is structured around keeping the brother safe until five days have passed.
- 02Sound-Based Detection
- House noises provide clues when an incident is taking place.
- 03Window Repairs
- A damaged window must be fixed to block the neighbor’s entry.
- 04Diminishing Strength
- Moving through the dark house gradually lowers the character’s physical strength.
